I raised my 2 nieces to be proud of their bodies and nudity is not a big thing for them they are now 20 and 23.
I am tired of americans being hung up and confusing sex with being naked.
most shows i have seen they do not take off their clothes to have sex.

My upbringing was similar. I was comfortable naked around both my parents, but then at 9-10, that changed and I wanted my privacy. My mom was also open about nakedness, but then at a certain point, she would ask me to cover my eyes or turn around if she had to strip.
I do vividly remember one instance around 15 or 16 years old when I was getting ready to take a shower and my mom must have been passing by because I moved to cover myself up but that prompted her to ask "can I see it?" She asked it kind of shyly, and I was embarassed, but I knew she was only curious to see her developing son. So I dropped the towel and then she was all "Hmm. You've gotten bigger. You look like your father." And then I jumped in the shower and that was it, but internally, I was a little weirded out she asked, though I know she meant nothing by it other than a mild passing curiosity. She hadn't seen it in a number of years. Has never asked since, and she wouldn't. And I wouldn't drop the towel now either!

I have found (in my observations of nudity and nudism/naturism) that perceptions of causal and family nudism (assuming that is the true subject matter of this thread, and not something more sinister) varies to an extreme degree and that variation is more often than not influenced by culture and race.
Certainly anyone doing even a rudimentary study of the subject must realise that this phenomenon (as an "official" lifestyle) has existed (for Europeans at least) since the early 1900's with the beginnings of Freikörperkultur , the idea being that social non-sexual nudity was (or should be) considered a natural occurrence. In such a culture, causual nudity even among family members would not (or is not supposed to be) sexual in nature. For vast numbers of people such a thing is not an issue.
Curiously most of black society sees nudism (or in fact any kind of nudity) as something associated with sex, and therefore nudity among family members is considered "freakish" and taboo. I say "curiously" because among many so-called "primitive" societies, including those in Africa, nudity was also a natural occurence. Certainly nothing to be ashamed of.
But somewhere between European colonization, the slave traders, missionaries and religion, indoctrination, Americanization, and psychological rejection of things considered primitive and uncivilized (and mind you, this is all theory based on broad generalizations) the black midset became that "nude was lewd".
Ever checked the naturist/nudist publications? The clothes free beaches of Europe and America? Ever wondered why one could count the number of people of "African" ancestry on one hand? Because it is counter culture to the "black" mindset (or at least counter to what "someone" says should be the black mindset. I've been looking for that "someone" who apparently wrote the book on what "we" are supposed to be doing and thinking, but I haven't been able to find him. Bloody hell....)
