    Morning guys,

so there I was minding my own business in a well known UK supermarket chain yesterday evening buying stuff for dinner, with lots of others mostly in summer gear - shorts blah blah blah.

When I turn to my right and there stood a guy, not far dissimilar height to me in a light shirt and light grey flat front slim fit suit / office trousers.

These happen to be a style I really like, although every guy I have ever seen wear them including models don't appear to show anything in the way of a bulge.

But this chap has quite a prominent bulge out both when you (like I did) glance from the side but also directly facing on - I would like to point out I did not stand there gawping at this guy, nor did I follow him around, but I'm sure you know what its like, you often bump into the same person several times in the supermarket working your way through the aisles.

Anyway, this does bring me to my point.

This is my preferred look from suit trousers and I own several pairs, but due to the fact I always have a noticeable bulge, I've never been confident enough to wear them more than twice (if that come to think of it) - I've even done things like buy sizes too big to see if it helps, but never does, I never get the same flat panel look you see on the pictures / models.

But this is the first times I've seen another guy blatantly bulge in that style of trouser, does that mean its OK? Not saying that because someone else does something you should copy, but what's your thoughts. Or have I just missed other guys having similar issues but just going with it?

I might take some pics later - actually I have another question about shorts I bought yesterday that I need some assistance on, but will take pictures to assist with that one.

Link pics here and we can have a better idea of whether your are poking out too far or not. Probably need to wear more restrictive underpants.

Xtremehung: I suspect that you might be one of those darned UK homosexuals that I have been hearing about around here.

You are right, there are very few guys who show in slacks/suit pants. I love the look of a professional especially in black pants. I hate pleated pants since there is little or no chance of catching someone bulging a bit. I have seen maybe two guys recently who were wearing flat-front slacks just tight enough to show some nice cheeks, and sure enough, when I caught a glimpse of the front... some nice bulge.
I have no idea yet how much bulge you show in clothes, but some pix will definitely help with that. I look forward to seeing some... both because of my sexual curiosity and because of the question at hand. I think as long as a bulge doesn't look intentional, then it can still be classy and sexy at the same time. Bulges like on the guys who wear jeans they have to paint onto themselves or who have their pants pulled up so far they're about to castrate themselves, are definitely not classy or sexy.
I say just be natural, and if your bulge is to the point of too noticeable, just be a little conservative, but don't go so far as to wear "gangsta" pants. Try slightly more form fitting undies and slightly loose-fitting pants. That should do the job nicely.

If your pants aren't skin tight, I wouldn't worry about it. I looked at your photos. You have an attractive male body and would look good in your dress pants. Be confident of who you are and wear them proudly.

I, ve got to admit I love to see some form in suit trousers, and it usually goes with a nice bum at rear.
sometimes wear them myself, but I'm usually in jeans. don't worry about showing a natural shape, ie unenhanced. I am not big, but can show ok, and no one ever complains at me, but they do notice so I presume like me, they don't mind seeing,
so please wear them and some photos please.

btw, i'm usually commando in them, which means I show but it's not all pointing forward. maybe you should try that ;-) ;-)

In my experience here in the UK the current slimfit suits, typically pale grey or even silvery in colour, do have low rise flat-fronted trousers verging on the skinny cut. They can look very smart on someone the right shape but almost invariably show a decent bulge, accentuated by the colour/sheen, and fit very closely on the rear. I would say this is absolutely the norm at the moment and far from unusual. And it's a really hot look from whatever vantage point! So Mr Xtremehung, pour yourself into some trousers like that and get the camera out!

Or, as Quentin Crisp said of himself, "The last of the stately British homos."

Unless it is blatant I wouldn't worry about it. Pictures of you in the pants would help...but I would say if the pants look good on you go for it.

As you asked so nicely, I tried to take some myself last night and the result was shockingly bad. I'm going to invest in a full length mirror today and try again.

Most typical office workers are not as in shape as those guys that work in the "trenches" Therefore, if they are skinny, they don't have particulary huge thigh muscles or large glutes. I have noticed in order to show a bulge, it's not so much what you got up front, but what you got out back that helps. Despite these young suit-wearing office guys wearing slim cut trousers, they don't have big firm glutes, so they don't show much of a bulge. A big firm butt is what is needed to pull the crotch of the pants tight through the crotch and show a bulge. Many of these guys are actually sagging these trousers a slight bit too since their thigh muscles are not that large....it's sort of a holdover from their high school days I guess, but most of them don't have the crotch of their pants at their body's crotch, so if they are wearing loose boxers, their parts fall down in betweeen their legs, instead of being pulled up front. The guys you are seeing bulging are probably wearing some sort of pouch brief, or pouch boxer-brief. I have noticed pouch underwear is still not hugely popular, as most guys these days have gone to wearing boxer-briefs with the typical "american" style fly-front that sort of flattens everything down.
