I remember this guy well. He appeared in the magazine sometime in the mid-'80s, I believe. From what I remember, he wasn't one of the models that was groomed and photographed by Playgirl. The photo was either found or sent in from some other source.

Wrong. The first release of Photoshop was in 1988. By 1994, Photoshop was on version 3.0.

So yes, they could easily have been Photoshopped.

Something makes me think that the photo wasn't photoshopped. Back then, if photoshopping was around, it was very rare. Plus, most of the early photoshopped things that I've seen look pretty bad.
