How often should a man ejaculate?

I read somewhere that to stay in top sexual shape a man should ejaculate at the very least twice a week.

More to the point, surely, is the need (or the desire) to masturbate. Ejaculation is not an end in itself (and I shouldn't think 'health' enters into it) but the result and consequence of a good wank. So long as one has this sex drive, ejaculation will result. If one hasn't, it won't.
