I doubt an actual arrangement exists. Ethan decided he wanted to leave the relationship (from what it looks like) and with that comes losing Olive as well. I doubt they are seeing each other. They live in different cities and Ethan doesnt even call him by name anymore in videos. He's just "his ex". Mark has Olive and thats that. I feel bad for Olive though. I'm sure she was attached to Ethan.

Mark does mentions not wanting to be with someone holding back his potential, and Ethan still doesn’t even know what he wants in life... every single video he’s put out since Mark started making content has been exactly like Mark’s... his “imposter syndrome” is exactly his fault because that’s all he is, an imposter. He doesn’t know what he wants so he copies Mark. That seems pretty boring to me.... no wonder Mark was being held back, where’s the room for growth? You think Ethan left Mark?? seems like Mark was tired of Ethans inability to think for himself.

I kind of agree with him though. Seems to me like Ethan is trying too hard and does not have his own style/mindset. Trying to be trendy by going to thrift shops and painting your nails don’t give you personality. The tattoo thing is nice, but he needs to pursue that to the max and get better and better at drawing, then he’d have his shot at the big leagues

What gets me is some folks(I've seen it on the comments section) still think they will get back together.
Those people don't live in reality.
It's pretty clear to those who do live in it that they're done for good, as shown by their videos, where as you said they don't even call each other by name anymore.
