A pal of mine (Scottish) went to New York for a wedding.

He couldn't get laid for money in UK but got so much attention, in his kilt, in NYC that he wore it every day.

Had more sex in a week than in a normal year.

What is it about a guy in a skirt?

You should get one and try it out. More fun than you'd expect I'd bet.
Especially when combined with a ring on your finger that might look like a wedding band.

Strange, but true. For real.

Kilts are a MAJOR fetish of mine I have to say. With easy access to everything and the quickie option 24/7, plus if the dude has a great arse on top of it all......god why couldn't I have been born in Scotland damn it ! Ugh !

Although straight, I love to look at guys in kilts, particularly sitting carelessly. If I lived in Scotland I would definitely wear a kilt.

As a dedicated kilt wearer, I'd have to jump on the bandwagon and say, "Oh, yeah."
There's something seriously sexy about a kilt. It's maybe the way it moves as you or someone else walks. It's also a very masculine image. I've noticed that when I'm wearing my kilt the way I walk is completely different. I feel more self-confident and I'm inclined to swagger and I think that gets me as much attention as the kilt itself does.

The main thing for me is comfort. Second is ease of access and third is the attention.

A friend of mine years ago hitchhiked round France for a month in a kilt. He took his bagpipes too, but that's beside the point. Not once did he have to unpack his tent. He hardly ever had to walk more than a couple of miles because people always stopped fro him. He slept with a different woman every night and had loads of offers from guys too, but he's straight.

If you're after a quickie, it's just a case of flip and go. An old quip goes along the lines of "What does a Scotsman wear under his kilt?" "A condom." That's what the sporran's for. Some now come with a condom pocket so they don't get damaged or lost among your money and keys.

You mean guys actually have quickie sex in those things ? Its not just a huge porn misconception or fevered imagined jack off fantasy in my head ? :biggrin1: Brilliant ! And lol at the condom compartments. When did they start adding those and where can I see the pics of them ?

Too right they do! I've been to plenty of weddings, functions, pubs and clubs in the kilt where it's been a case of fucking someone in the toilets. I remember a party in Aberdeen where my mate David got a very discrete blow job from a guy who knelt in front of him and put his head up his kilt as we stood talking in the corner of the living room. I'd have been next but David's boyfriend ralised what was going on and wasn't too happy about it.

The condom pockets in sporrans are a fairly recent addition. I don't have one yet, but my next sporran will. It's such a great idea and I'm surprised no-one thoguht of it sooner, but I suppose safe sex wasn't at the top of the agenda in sporran design in the past.

You know, I can only think of one porno where there was a guy in a kilt. There must be a market for it, surely? The one I saw was on one of the semi-pro porn websites, but I can't remember which one. I'll have to do a search for that now. Bang goes another afternoon's work!

Maybe it's time I picked up my video camera and got the boys round...

Hiya, MB. Haven't seen you in ages!

I think the kilt fetish has a bit of a parallel with the stockings and suspenders fetish.

I've been in foreign parts with my hands up a kilt :biggrin1::biggrin1::biggrin1:

Kilts are way sexier than stockings and suspenders - oh wait - you mean women wearing stockings and suspenders, right? (...still think kilts are sexier)

I think so too, but I'm sure some of the straighter guys would disagree.

I bet your man would prefer you in them though. Actually, there's an idea for a scene, a kilted hunk and a babe in stockings and sussies... Caters for so many fantasies.

LOL. I have heard about blokes getting off with other guys in kilts before but always thought it was wishful thinking, but hearing more and more stories about it makes me want to book the next ticket over to Scotland and test out this theory for real, though I have heard bi and gay guys get picked on a lot over there and that there are supposed to be very few guys over there that go for guy on guy loving in the first place.

It is interesting that the condom place is new to the kilt designs, but then again I am sure the makers of certain kilts got enough feedback from those who wear them to know it should be incorporated and so did it to help boost sales.

As for kilts in porn, it is amazing how little of it there is in ANY porn, let alone gay ones. For that matter, it amazes me how many people find scottish accents sexy and scottish men hot as hell yet NONE of the major gay or bi porn companies want to tap into that market and make some movies based on the kilt theme and maybe fly over to Glasgow and recruit some guys to star in it.

If you do make a tape, MB, I'd love to see it.

WellHung, I'm not sure where you get the idea that there ain't too many gay/bi guys in Scotland. There's a fairly good scene in Glasgow and Edinburgh and smaller ones in Aberdeen and Dundee. The main problem is that we've got a relatively small population due to events of a couple of hundred years ago when about a third of the population got shipped off to the States and Canada, but that's for another thread.

Just take a look on Gaydar and Squirt and you'll get an idea of how many of us there are and that's only the tip of the iceberg. A lot of guys, especially those how live in small communities are in the closet (and/or in denial) and don't have the opportunity to go out on the scene at all and don't want to risk being outed by a profile on a gay site. I must admit I was suprised to find three guys who were on my year in school on Gaydar and I know of a few others, both older and younger than myself.

I used to live on the Isle of Skye. There's even a small scene there, but it's pretty discreet. It revolves around people's homes and occasional parties which you only ever hear about if you're invited to one! Most of the time, you don't have a clue that a guy's gay until he tells you or you meet him at a party. I remember being surprised a few times.

Yes, there is homophobia in Scotland, but I don't think it's any worse than anywhere else in the UK and it's a hell of a lot better than it was 20 years ago. We seem to have a reputation for being ready for a fight all the time and that's a bit stereotyped. Most of Scotland's reputation seems to be based on the East End of Glasgow 40 years ago, but the truth is, like all countries, the people living in one four-square-mile area aren't representative of the population as a whole, and especially not 40 years later.

I live in England now, but that will hopefully change in the next few months. I think it's time I moved back north.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand, if you fancy going to Glasgow and having a night out in a kilt, let me know. A word of advice though, get some practice in first as you're liable to have a boner that won't go away the first few times you wear one.
