All I practically wear now are briefs. I just love the way they look/feel on me and love walking around in them around the house. I am a litte self-conscious about them because not many straight dudes wear briefs and sometimes they show a panty line when im wearing basketball shorts which is sort of embarassing I guess. Besides that, I love them and so does my gf. I own about 10 pairs of designer CK briefs and love them. I always find myself in the underwear section at department stores and buying the new color/style CK brief. It's like an addiction for some reason lol.

I too wear briefs most of the time, always have worn briefs. I've never had complaints from prior girlfriends or my current wife.
I think I am a little self-conscious when around other guys in locker rooms, etc because I am changing into briefs. But not all the time. And I too find myself looking for new underwear colors/styles as well when we are out at the mall or wherever. You are not alone. Ha.

I grew up in Texas and all the guys in hs wore plain white briefs and jockstraps for sports. This was 1974-78. I know all that's changed. the question is, WHY?

I find this thread very revealing (er, so to speak) about social norms. The idea that almost no guys under 30 would wear briefs says a lot about customs. LIke many things, it's just the opposite of how it once was. used to be only old men wore boxers; now, apparently, it's the reverse.
I wear boxer briefs days but always throw on a pair of 2xist briefs at the gym or before going out for a run. I like the extra support that briefs give me when I work out or run.
