I have been cut from birth. My frenulum is intact. I pierced it a few years back.

Had mine cut out and removed about 3 years ago and wish I had done it earlier. Cut at birth but the frenulum was left.

Mine was left when circ'd at birth, kind of short, thin, and tight. After it snapped several times had frenuloplasty and I'm much more sensitive now.

Southern, do you perhaps mean "frenulectomy" (i.e., complete removal of the frenulum)? "Frenuloplasty" is a surgical method of lengthening, not completely removing, the frenulum. One of your photos shows that yours is missing.

When I was younger, I longed to be circumcised like practically 80% of the people I saw in porn, and porn made me think that being uncircumcised was wrong or too taboo to be mentioned or discussed. It was infrequent that I would see an intact dude in porn unless I specifically searched for an intact porn-star of if I explicitly tagged "uncut" in the porn searches.

But I have pretty much gotten over it. I was contemplating getting circumcised and I still do think about it, but nothing has ever been made of the thought. I have a love/hate relationship with mine. It's not a burden like most people (mostly circumcised, anyway) claim, and although I wasn't cut, I can't imagine what it would be like without it. It definitely would take some time getting used to.

Also, I've read over and over that apart from the glans, the most sensitive part of the circumcised penis is . . .the scar . . . Is this true? My frenulum provides a much different sensation than any other part of my penis, so, although it probably is the most sensitive part in that regard, pleasure can be derived from different things. But I will say that it is so easily excited and I can actually orgasm hands-free by pointing a spray of shower water at it and waiting about 4 minutes.

I am Turkish so I was cut when I was very young. My frenulum was removed. I agree. Apart from the head my scar is the best place for sensation. especially the underneath part of the scar

Correct, the scar is the most sensitive on average. Fine-touch pressure thresholds in the adult penis - Sorrells - 2007 - BJU International - Wiley Online Library

Under results: "The most sensitive location on the circumcised penis was the circumcision scar on the ventral surface. Five locations on the uncircumcised penis that are routinely removed at circumcision had lower pressure thresholds than the ventral scar of the circumcised penis."

Under conclusion: "The glans of the circumcised penis is less sensitive to fine touch than the glans of the uncircumcised penis. The transitional region from the external to the internal prepuce is the most sensitive region of the uncircumcised penis and more sensitive than the most sensitive region of the circumcised penis. Circumcision ablates the most sensitive parts of the penis."

To date, and to my knowledge, Sorrells is the only person to do a comprehensive examination of the fine-touch pressure thresholds of circumcised and uncircumcised men. It's his study, which has never been successfully refuted by the way, that people are referring to.
