I'm 5'6" and on average I'm at 8.5" but on some days, I've topped out at a full 9". I guess being short isn't all that bad after all. 
Those of you who are by proportion short in stature but very large between the legs in proportion are those that porn producers just love. smaller guys are lucky. They can be only slightly bigger than average and look huge. Guys as tall (and wide) as me can be very well hung and only look a bit bigger than average.
I've known a few men who are shorter as most, and a couple had cocks that looked huge.

I am over 6'3" tall and I've had people tell me in these threads that I am somewhere between 7-7.75" I measure from 8.5-9.5" no matter how I do it (tape, ruler, pressed or not) so there is some validity to this height argument. I also think that a very thick penis tends to make it appear shorter as well.
I don't know Cal, I think you're selling yourself short. I'm 5'10" just over 8", and I would swear you're bigger than me, cockwise that is. No, it's not what I would call huge, but definitely big, I would guess 8+. More importantly that's one beautiful piece, as is the rest of you.
