My husband is 6'6".... Or was in college. He'll say he's 6'5" because " we all shrink with age".
I don't want to hear that; I'm 5'1", I think. But as many women lie about age, height is my issue. So here and there I'd add an inch, to be 5'2". Then about 5'3". One day I said 5'3" and my hubby gave me ' the look'.
So, I'll go with 5'1" as no one has proven I've shrunk!
As far as height difference, my biggest complaint at first was walking with him. He take long steps, fairly quickly. He has long legs. Soon I'm doing this run/walk thing. It was an issue we had to work on and he had to learn to walk slower.
Sex , well we have 2 kids, so we managed to experiment! Dancing to a slow song was at first comical. Early on some jokingly suggested he just carry me around.
Those first few weeks of dating he'd refer to me as his pocket girlfriend.
At least our daughters are both over 5'5". I wanted them to be taller than I. One is just about 5'6". The other just a tad over 5'6".
I think it's human nature to feel the other side (or extreme) is some how better.
My roommate was 5'9", and always wanted to be petite. Whereas I envied her, and wished to be her height with her long legs.
She did tend to look for taller guys ( at least 5'11 to 6 feet) and she was the first to see us together.
Later that evening she did make a sarcastic remark. Something about leaving the really tall guys alone and sticking to my own kind. It was in jest.
But, then she asked if he had a twin brother. Expecting me to laugh and say no.
But he did. Hmmm. Wasn't quite available at that point, but yes he sure does.
