Obi1 - you know that this is almost identical to the length measurements found in England (multiple times), Brazil, the US (all over), Israel, and Italy too right? It's not just white people either: a couple US studies have included people of many ethnicities, as did the Brazil study.
What is wrong inside of people's brains that we can reproduce the same experiment multiple times all over the planet, yet people still 'debate' over it because someone on the internet says "I think the average is more like 8" and all the French guys I've seen have small dicks." But don't you understand? They KNOW the average is 7 or 8". No they haven't measured properly, they've just compared the dicks they've seen with other objects, or collected mountains of hearsay (sorry verbal evidence). After all there's a reason why builders measure that way when they're constructing houses, and why scientists measure that way when they're conducting experiments.

True average is at least 7". As I've said before, there's no real evidence for it, but it's a scientific fact.

I knew those self measurement studies about the french being 6.2 inches were bullshit. I suspect the Italian one was bullshit as well. If the Spaniards, Portuguese & Greeks are relatively average its no reason for the Italians to be any bigger than them.

I like to be huge, but i don't like to feel like being a monster, and those results of the survey make me feel like a monster. I dont really think those results are accurate. I would say that survey is dead on and consistent with previous. When I read those saying average is 7" I laugh because those are the surveys of self reported statistics.

I know when I am looking at guys on this site and other similar, I think I am pretty average. Remember the internet isn't going to make webpages about glorifying an average sized dick. When I am at the gym locker room, that to me is the easiest way to tell average dick size. When I am there, I am almost always the most hung, love it. Smaller guys would probably pay much more attention to such studies, and would feel more inclined to contribute, since it's much more of a preoccupation for them. Hung guys already know they're well above average, why the hell would they care about getting measured in a penis size study lol

1.It was my understanding that the surgeons that perform this enlargement in France do it primarily for medical reasons, for men with micropenises under 8 cm, and in France health care is pretty much socialized so I don't think they would have much of a profit motive in reporting higher than reality averages.

That's exactly my point, it's not mentioned (and your assumption is very inaccurate in terms of how scientific surveys are performed). There is a field of science behind getting accurate results from surveys & polls.

Yeah. I went looking, and it's kind of surprising to me how little there is in the way of scientific studies on the topic.

There's a whole ton of self-reported surveys and crap, but little in the way of actual scientific standardized measurement. What ones I could find had pretty small sample sizes.

There are quite a few studies listing their methodology, of varying sample sizes. The fact these were done in various countries, by various institutions (medical researchers, the Indian and Israeli armies and so on) and are all roughly consistent with each other, mitigates the effect of the small sample sizes in individual surveys.

Why "lol"? Many women say that size isn't linked to pleasure, assuming that the penis they encounter is in the normal range to begin with. I'd be inclined to believe them, rather than assume they must be lying because my male intuition tells me that big penises must be more pleasurable.
