German actor David Kross did a nude scene opposite Kate Winslet in The Reader. It was a bit controversial because he was 17 when movie production began and those scenes could not be completed until he turned 18 this past July. He gives quite a brilliant performance playing the young Ralph Fiennes from age 15 through his years as a law student.

David Kross was eighteen when he shot his nude scenes for The Reader. That's very well documented, and believe me, I checked before I started the thread.

This is totally crazy that they couldn't have just filmed the movie with him sitting in the bath like everyone else in the world does it. If this isn't a case of exploitation nothing is. I don't care if he was willing to do it, its just stupid. And portraying him as a 15 year old yet at that.

This film was brilliant in many ways. A must watch in my opinion.
