Why wouldn't they? Opinions can be annoying, stupid, offensive, etc Just because it's an opinion doesn't mean it's sacrosanct and must be respected. In fact the opposite is true, opinions are supposed to be things which in the free flow of discourse are challenged, passionately and vehemently so sometimes, and tested thereby.
