I'm not saying you can't prefer low hangers, but such an obsession with them is fetishistic and unhealthy. Just like I'm not saying you can't prefer uncut penises, but an obsession with the foreskin is fetishistic and pervy.
I don't know what you think women/gays like in a scrotum, but most people outside the realm of fetish think low hangers are gross, or at least less aesthetically pleasing.
The nutsack gets really tight before orgasm, and it is a sign of great excitement, arousal, and sensuality.
And when you have an erection, a tighter scrotum is more aesthetically pleasing, the curves of the genitals flow together more smoothly.
And penis size is not really an issue when it comes to the testicles hanging. Yes, low hangers may expose a little more shaft on the bottom, but they add all sorts of gross dangling skin and wrinkles and "webbing" potentially. Only someone obsessed with incremental size differences would care.
And you don't measure along the bottom anyway. All the exposed bottom-shaft in the world wont make you look bigger because people judge that from the top-length, no matter how much some porn tries to create the illusion of "huge" penises by always showing them from the bottom up (and zoomed so that they compare deceptively with the face and rest of the body in the distance). A full-body profile side view of a man with his erection is really the only way to judge size accurately, especially in photos or videos. And you will notice such straightforward side-view displays of erections are rare in porn, as it tries to create it's illusions by making the size ambiguous and not providing good markers for objective comparison.
But low hangers are gross. They make the balls look...exhausted. The sack "melts" like that when it is hot or tired. Tight balls make you look ready to burst, filled with semen and potency. Low hangers look empty and exhausted, like they've been overused and are now weak and passive and less engorged.
During sex/masturbation, the balls get tight, and it can be pleasurable to rub them and the scrotal skin then. When they're loose and exhausted...not so much. Just as the erection is the ultimate stage of the penis in terms of phallic potency and symbolic masculine eroticism, tighter balls (as they are during intense sex) are the expression of that in the testicles, NOT low hangers. Except for fetishists.
Now, it's true, you don't always want the penis erect, and you don't always want the balls so tight. Being super-tight can make them look smaller if they withdraw too far up near the body. BUT, low-hangers are the testicular equivalent of a super loose, super empty, super exhausted flaccid penis, or maybe a gross impotent-looking exhausted semi-erection (I think semi-erections are the ugliest stage of the penis). And that's not aesthetically appealing.
No. Even when flaccid, you want the penis, though totally unerect and soft, to be still sort of swollen and full looking. As puffy as it can be without becoming elevated (because once you get elevated a bit...that's a semi and it's ugly). You dont want the wrinkly, exhausted look. Same thing with the testicles...you want a smooth, full, young healthy look. Same thing with the testicles. Loose folds of extra skin make it look like you have old-woman labia between your legs...and except for fetishists, that's ugly.
Now, like I said...they shouldnt be super-orgasm tight all the time. A tight, firm, round, crinkly armidillo sack is nice with an erection, and can feel good to touch...but with a flaccid penis, obviously, you want something a little looser and softer. Still, pretty tight however. Perhaps just loose enough so that you can start seeing the definition of the balls themselves and distinguish as seperate the curves of the two of them (because super tight makes looks like the scrotum is one big sphere, which is fine with an erection, but not flaccid).
And this is ideal for size in some ways too. Too tight and they can get pulled somewhat into the body even and look small. But too loose...and there is no engorging effect which can make them look smaller and empty too. Really loose low hanging balls are very distinct as balls,true...but they get none of the "cushioning" boost to the appearence of their size that comes from the puffiness of a somewhat tighter scrotum and its skin and fluids.
Also, low-hangers look bad in other ways. Ideally, the flaccid penis will rest relaxed and lazy ON the scrotum. The bottom side of the flaccid penis should, in most people's aesthetic ideal, rest heavily on the front curve of the scrotum. However with low-hangers, especially if you have a very tight ligament...the penis may seem elevated a little, even when fully flaccid, and sort of "hang out" with space between it and the front of the scrotum that makes it look like a pathetic little semi.
Similarily, higher, tighter balls (especially big ones) provide an excellent "seat" for the penis in creating "the bulge". Low hangers make no bulge. They dangle "between" your legs...but that doesnt create any contours out in front of your crotch. Balls higher and tigher ride foreward and in front, allowing them to push the flaccid penis foreward and the whole thing creates the volume need for the bulge. Low hangers, too often, are a lot of empty skin sac that dont take up too much space, and the balls themselves, all loose and slippery, spread out and maybe even just end up near your anus...which creates no "bulge".
