Why I'm responding to you I don't know.

The main reason the attitude shifted was medical - doctors stopped doing it as matter of course. So when the decision was placed squarely with the parents, many decided it was unecessary. That led to medicare making it an elective procedure. I grew up in a "upper class" area, and it was in those areas where the cut rate dropped earliest.

I'm uncut, and very healthy thank you very much. Just shows how little you really know.

uncut 31yo here. i read some medical research somewhere that wa, vic & tas less likely to circumcise, and qld, NSW & sa more likely. but yeah, not so common these days and seems it mainly depends on how old you are and what cultural background you have.

one of my lady friends had some fun with him, said it was quite a beast

Are most of the uncut aussies white? What are the circ rates like among the other racial backgrounds?
In aus there was a big boom back in the 80's where most guys were cut at birth (I know many were not circumcised I'm just going off my experience with seeing friends dicks or other guys at pool or gym showers)
So for a while alot people just had there kids circumcised at birth just because it was what everyone else was doing. now I think doctors only cut if there's a medical reason.

Wealthy and educated usually know the benefits from circumcision!

My brother and I are uncut, yet our parents have both been to University, and are worth about $80 million. Gee, how does your theory stack up there?

You're talking out of your ass; or, as we say here in Australia; arse.

Some cut men as so distraught that their genitals have been surgically mutilated that they make up all sorts of crazy lies to try to make themselves feel better.
