I am 45 and I have never tried Viagra or any other drug in the Viagra family. I have never had a problem getting erect quickly and easily, so I have never had need to try these drugs. I am curious however of some of the other benefits I have rumored to hear about.

1. Other there any other performance enhancing benefits?
2. What other benefits have you experienced that I may be interested in?
3. Why do you take Viagra or others in the same drug class?

If you've never had a problem getting erect, what point is there?
But if you need a boost, obviously it might help.
Someone mentioned long-term erections ... lasting more than four hours ... and they can be harmful. (It's an exaggeration to say you're dick is dying, though.)
Some people report headaches. There have been reports of bad effects on the heart. Sometimes blood pressure falls dangerously.
You'd talk about this with your doctor.

I have no problems with erectile dysfunction but I've tried it 'recreationally' in the past and the only side effects I've noticed is it gives me the sniffles and makes my face flush something wild.

I will tell you what it is good for. You will get absolutely the most solid, rock hard rigid erection you've ever gotten in your life. When you were 16 you didn't bone up like this.

What is it good for? One word that rhymes with anal. Oh, it's anal ;) For the top and the bottom alike, if floppy is bad, and hard is good, then rigid is better. It just makes the experience easier and more pleasurable for everyone.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't need it, and it does have its side effects and risks, but when I've been in the mood to top someone and make sure they know they've been topped, it's the best.

50 mg is the 'normal' dose for someone with ed. Even a small corner of one (15 mg or so) is more than enough to do the trick.

side effects: headache, upset stomach, flush of skin (blushing), a lowering of blood pressure. there is also the warning about an erection that lasts more than two hours.

But it helps me.

Cialis seems to work better for many. It lasts longer with less side effects. I have tried it recrationally, and yes, you could do some damage with such a rigid erection.

Also--- for those who don't really need them, one of the most dangerous side effects is tachycardia... an extremely fast and irregular heartbeat.

The heart can get beating so fast that it is not taking time to fill up with blood before the next contraction....

Viagra is also associated with vision impariment.

The only positive effect it offers is prolonged erection regardless of stimulation... and it only offers that benefit to 65% of men... 35% will see no significant effect.

If you have no problem maintaining an erection... then its 10 buck you threw away in exchange for some small risk to your health.

Good thinking!

Cialis and Levitra are each different than Viagra and each other in terms of their action..
If you need erection assistance, and viagra seems not to work so well, try the others... chances are one of them will result in better performance.

Cialis is thought by many to be the most effective in that it does not really give you a raging boner... so much as it makes your sexual response more like it was when you were younger... that is more easily aroused, and more persistently aroused.

And its effects are longer term.

Of the 3 Cialis appears to be the safest in terms of negative side effects....

But again.... do not take drugs to help with a problem you don't have.

I've taken Viagra for over five years and I haven't had any side effects to speak of. I have also used cock rings for years. viagra gives you great erections and it takes longer to cum but not 4 hours. Cock rings give good rigid erections and I like the feel of a metal cockring behind my balls.

I don't need viagra to get hard, but tried it a few years ago and....wow!!

Was in a situation where ther was just me and three girls and decided I'd use the blue pill I'd been given by a friend who swears by them.

I'm so glad I did.

I was hard all night and all three of the girls begged for submission before I did, even after I had climaxed with each of the girls, I was still raring to go another round.

I've tried Cialis and can't see the difference.

I've bought it off the internet and it's not the same - I guess most of the internet stuff is phoney. I have a guy wo supplies me kosher stuff at a reasonable (not overly cheap) price and I reckon that's better than lining the pockets of some faceless Chinese or Bangladeshi charlatan.

I use it very rarely as I don't want to end up relying on it, but for special occasions it's a ticket to paradise 9for all concerned - lol).

Side-effects with me are a flushed face, feeling hot in the face and head and sometimes a slight headache, next day.

It's also very awkward if you want the hotel breakfast but you turn up with a raging hard-on.

My advice is don't take drug if u can have a hard-on easily and quick. Reading all the side effect above certainly isn't worth the try anyway

The prescription ED drugs can enable you to stay harder longer than what you would otherwise be capable of. But they can also make it more difficult to ejaculate.

The standard dosage of each of the three drugs is intended for men who have severe ED, men who would otherwise be unable to get an erection. At that dosage level there are commonly side effects such as headaches.

If you don't have ED, and want to use it for a recreational performance boost, then you should start out trying a much smaller dose.

I don't really need ED pills, but once in a great while I take 1/8th or less of a 20mg Cialis pill. The effect lasts for several days or more, and doesn't seem to have any negative effects.

Less frequently mentioned benefit is that it gives you total control. You don't cum until you want to. Then you explode.

All three of the oral ED drugs are relatively safe and within the next five years or so you will probably see at least one if not more go OTC. There are some new studies on the use of cialis for several other things and there is also evidence that cialis improves coronary circulation and with or without ED it may be of benefit to many men.

Quite frankly and honestly, as erectile agents they have more worth as a recreational drugs for people without ED than they do for anyone with it. I tried all three orals and though they helped they were expensive, "hit and miss" and that made them unreliable.

I got sick of all of the problems and hassles, went to a specialist and solved the problem 100% by going on the injections. They are cheaper, they work virtually guaranteed, and the injection process is easy and painless.

I don't need anything to get a hard on. However, I did take it once. The light turned from a white light to a sort of light blue color. My dick got hard and it seemed that it was harder than normal, just a little. Had normal sex with my wife and shoot off my usual heavy load of cum. It seems I did last a little longer, but I wouldn't take this pill unless I really needed it.

My wife's hands all over my dick is the best pill in the world....

It's not something I need, but I have tried Viagra and Cialis recreationally and had positive experiences with both. Obviously there's the potential of side effects with any drug, but if you do your research and be smart about it, you can minimize it. I know some will say that if you're being smart you wouldn't be experimenting in the first place, but let's face it, there are those who are curious and want to try it, that's what made me try them. In my experiences the main difference between Viagra and Cialis is the feeling. Cialis feels more like a natural erection but stronger, where Viagra feels like you're dealing with a heat-seeking missile (it will put the erections of your teenage years to shame!). Both of them allow you more control of your orgasm, but with Viagra there's a definite difference where it's a much more powerful explosion, especially the longer you hold out. The key to both pills is to start with small doses, I've found much testimony that says smaller doses can be more powerful and that's been true in my experiences. Viagra comes in a 100mg pill... the best thing to do is cut it in 1/8's... YES 1/8's and start with that. With Cialis, which comes in a 20mg pill, just cut it in 1/2 and start there. I've never tried more then those amounts and honestly I can't imagine taking more unless I actually had an ED condition. Both are very powerful drugs, and you have to stay away from the belief that more is better. 1/8 of a Viagra makes your penis think that you're spending the day starring in porno movies.... that's more then enough for me! Also, with the lower doses, I've never experienced any side effects what-so-ever, so that's a bonus as well. Hope this helps any of you interested enough to try either of those medications!

I agree with My8x7 with horney goat weed or many other herbal versions. I owned a change of sports nutrition stores and had all kinds of samples of natural products just for men. One of the best ones that made my cock even harder than ever- was an herb called Yohimbe. I'll never forget the name because our slogan for it was " Yo-him-be hard all the time" I sold alot of the products. Even though I didn't need it or for that fact none of my customers did or professed to not "need" it, I explained it like having popcorn with your movie- you don't have to have popcorn to watch a movie BUTT it makes it a lot better with it! The same with this product and sex- who doesn't want better sex than the last time we had it! You'll never hear me say " No to having better sex". I had viagra once and it was more like Vi-agrivation with the high blood pressure and red eyes. Never again!
