Well since I'm a white guy who has lived in Asia for over a decade, I think I may have something to add to this. Asian women and women from the west both want the same thing but they have different ways of getting it. Make no mistake, Asian women control what's going on, but they are just less aggressive about it.
As for me, I've been exposed so much to Asian culture, it seems normal. When I do meet western women I actually really enjoy being around them. At first they can be a little on guard and tough to get to know but after a while, when they trust you, you realize they just want to be treated right and that's exactly what Asian women want. Sometimes both want to be submissive and sometimes they want to be in control.
Both types have their positive and negatives but since I like women and being around all types I've learned to roll with it. People around the world are not so different in reality. It's perceptions that seem to make things complicated.
