My theory is that guys in porn look so big due to the effect known as, "the camera adds 15 pounds." I believe this can be extended to penis size, particularly girth. So don't feel bad if you don't hang like a pornstar - I bet they don't either. :tongue:

How do your partners' interpretations of your size differ from your own? Are you surprised at your size when you take pics? Do you expect it to be bigger, smaller, the same? How good are your partners at estimating your size? None of mine have been very accurate.

I guess I may appear just a bit heavier in photos not much...fairly accurate.
My penis looks pretty much the same in the few pics I've taken.

I believe I have come upon a phenomenon that approximately at the level of men's solar plexis (navel), there is a visual/energy distortion field that causes things below it to appear smaller than they actually are. So if, say, you look at a guy who is the same size as you in a locker room or a movie, and then look down at your own penis, you will experience a convincing perception that yours is substantially smaller. Going the other way, penises other than yours will appear substantially larger in comparison than they would actually measure. This explains much.

It may also be that males experience a mis-perception of other males' penis sizes as larger, due to a quirk of evolutionary biology; I am currently working on fleshing out that theory.

Having spoken to several porn producers, directors and even actors it is b/c they try if they can to get guys that are not too tall b/c the shorter the guy that is big to start is the bigger his cock is going to look on his short frame.

People. Porn stars are on a sort of "Short list" of hung People out there. They always seem hung not because of camera angles and special shots but because they are sought after and chosen to play these roles, they have a tool needed for the industry. (Remember they don't represent the average or median of men out there).

I am sure Camera angle plays a role but not a huge factor, it simply enhances what is already there a better than average shlong.

It's like asking : Why do WWF/WWE wrestlers all seem so "BUFF?" and trying to state that the camera adds 15 pounds, or it's the way they cover the match that makes them look so huge. They are Period. (But again WWE wrestlers don't represent the median of men in the world, and are not a yard stick by which to measure by any means).

I can't remember the last time I saw a below average person in a porn, just like I can't remember the last time I saw an out of shape WWF/WWE wrestler (That was not meant to be just that).
