There is quite a bit of discussion about the basis for a bisexual orientation. Some believe that everyone is born with a very diffuse sexuality, so that we all start out as essentially bisexual, but social and psychological forces pull most people closer to one end of the heterosexual/homosexual spectrum.
Others claim that sexual orientation has already pretty much been fixed when we are born.
In my own particular case, it seems to me that I started out with a strong but pretty unfocused sexual energy and with a great interest in the bodies and sexual organs of both males and females. I feel that, had my experiences been somewhat different, I might have ended up decisively on either the heterosexual end of the spectrum or the homosexual end.
I have started to put together some thoughts on how I think it was that I ended up where I am, kind of in the middle of the spectrum of sexual orientation. I decided to organize these thoughts in the form of a list of “10 Reasons I Am Bi”. So here is the first installment. Some have to do with my nature from the get-go, others have to do with forces beyond my control, and still others feel like something approaching conscious decisions.
I welcome comments about how the experiences and perceptions of others compare to mine.
10 Reasons I Am Bi
#10 Cock and only cock
Cock was all I knew through crucial years of my development since I never had sexual contact with anyone at all until late in my teens. Consequently, my own cock was all I experienced year after year after year. After being that cock-centered for so long, there was no way that social pressure to be straight was going to be completely effective.
