and the work goes on......

first week supervising crew on my own... driving to sites and locating the task areas, with my only assistance being guesswork and my local maps. The guys tried to help, but they cannot always be trusted for reliable information, depending on their mental status at the time. but wow- what a great week for weather and my outdoor crews!
Yesterday (why always Friday?) we were at an outdoor site doing maintenance, I hear this loudspeaker "THIS IS THE XXXXXX POLICE DEPT. YOUR PICTURE HAS JUST BEEN TAKEN. PLEASE LEAVE THE AREA OR YOU WILL BE ARRESTED" WTF?? this repeated about every 3 minutes. so...... being me....... I hammed it up for their camera- waving, sticking out my tongue, all the while hoping they could tell by my vehicle and safety vests clothing etc who it was... I guess Monday I'll know, cos my first site is the cop shop. LOL. can hardly wait.

Just as long as you didn't strip, you should be ok. If you did, you'll know who was watching by the red-faced cop sporting the "extra" nightstick.

LMAO! Now every cop will wonder why I wanna have a look at their equipment!:biggrin1:

Hey, if it meant you checking my nightstick? I'd be joining the force tomorrow.

Sounds like Robocop isn't all that far-fetched after all.
At least they didn't say "You have 10 seconds to comply!"
