becoming part of the cure and not the disease

When we look at life and everyone around us most of us think that were fairly good people. But when it truly comes down to it were not we judge people for being too fat or too skinny for being black or white for being disabled or just a little diffrent looking. By trying to not let people live the dreams that the people want to or by letting people think that its just normal when all we do is become part of the disease and not the cure. So I ask if there is anyone that has ever hurt anyone wither they knew about it or not please apologize to start making a diffrence not only in the world of the people we talk to here but in our own towns. Thanks

Um, how can you apologise when you don't know you've hurt someone? Life is a mass of times we hurt people without knowing it, and times we think we've hurt someone when (they assure us) we didn't.

Sure, apologise when you know you've hurt someone, or can reasonably guess that you did, but the rest of the time you just have to do you best not to hurt them (unless you meant to because they deserved it).

One problem is that half the time, you don't know what will hurt someone. Most people don't show their weak spots, precisely for fear they will be hurt.

It goes without saying that we shouldn't look down on people just for being different. Some of the people I have learnt the most from (because they make me look at my "ordinariness" from the outside) have been "different" - Deaf, Intersexed, Aspergers, F2M transsexual (in fact it's hard to write that last one, because I just don't think of him that way, he's just a guy, you know?).
