Book title opinions needed!

Hey, friends!

in two weeks, I’m moving into final prep for the launch my new book. I’m considering alternate titles for it…and this is why I need your opinion!

Of these, which one would you be most likely to click on or pick up?

-Roadmap to the Hidden You

-Unlocking Your Hidden Self

-Journey to the Ecstatic Self

-The Discomfortable Pearson’s Guide to Self-Acceptance

Any additional ideas are welcome!!

@4skinrestore ”The Discomfortable...” was my original title. I specifically chose the word Discomfortable because it was awkward. Technically correct—but not a word we use anymore.

My company is called Ecstatic Self ... so I’m not sure I want a book that is the same name. I want to have room to shift and grow with it. Like, if/when I write a next book, if could be (something else) to the Ecstatic Self. Thoughts?

I think each title has merit, but I would expect slightly different content from each one. For example, the roadmap title would lead me to believe you will give me a specific step by step how to get there whereas the other options may help me to find my own path. For the next two my hidden self may not be an ecstatic self, right? And finally, I don't feel like I am a discomfortable person so I may skip over your book, but I believe there always is room to improve my self-acceptance in one way or another.

You must know who your primary audience is so does one of these titles seem more appropriate for who you most want to reach?

Sometimes one word titles are very strong, such as just "Self" or "Emerge." It gives enough to hint at what the book is about, prompting potential readers to pick it up to learn more, but not so much as to sound like just another self help book. You are clearly passionate and very intelligent, if you were to pick one word to sum up your book, what would it be? An understated cover or jacket might do well too. An plain orange cover with just the word "Emerge" on it. I would pick that up and read the blurb on the back and possibly buy it. I guess the most important part is that you have something unique and valuable to offer people, don't let it get lost in a title.

I'm impressed with the quantity of quality feedback furnished already.

I like the idea of a single word, attention grabbing TITLE:
followed by a more descriptive subtitle

I like using Ecstatic Self for sure.

Your Ecstatic Self
The Ecstatic Self
Uncovering Your Ecstatic Self
Discovering Your Ecstatic Self
Unleashing Your Ecstatic Self
Becoming Your Ecstatic Self

From awkward to living a life in ecstacy (sp)

I wouldn't worry about future books or being limited on titles for the future based on this title. You will figure that out when you get there :)
