Not too long ago, a friend of mine told me that her dog was dying. This dog is really old. It's a Shih Tzu, blind and unable to control its bowel movements. This dog is so old that they lined the pathway from the bedroom to the backdoor with these continence pads on the floor. This is so that if the dog does not make a mess on the floor. I was told that this has happened many times before in the past. In my mind, during all this, I was thinking that this dog needs to be put to sleep. It's old and does not need to suffer any longer.
Two weeks ago, I met this "soon-to-be-bride" who told my friend and I that she had a tattoo done on her arm with the ashes of her grandfather. His remains were mixed in with the tattoo ink. Quite strange but I understood the sentimental meaning behind it. Still eery though. I let it go. The other day, the vet of my friend said that her dog does not have that much longer to live. In my mind, I said, "It's about time!". Not in a mean way, but this girl is obsessed with this blind Shih Tzu. She then informs me that she's going to cremate her dog and then use half of the ashes in tattoo ink, for herself, and the other half to spread God-knows-where. I was like "WHAT!!!! Why cremate your dog and use the ashes in a tattoo? Why not bury it like any other normal human? It's a dog. For crying out loud!" She replies, "Well, I don't want my dog to buried where she's not used too. She lived most of her life in Hawaii, and plus I always want a piece of her with me where I go."
DEAR LORD!!!! This girl has gone BANANAS!!! Her who life is crazy and I cannot take it any longer. She seriously needs therapy.
