Dear Mr. President.

Well, as of today, Mr. Barack Obama, you are officially our 44th United States President.

As most of my fellow LPSG members know, you were not my first choice. But, with that said, I wish you luck. I am glad to see Bush go.

You were handed the keys to the White House amidst an economic turmoil. I know fixing the mess Bush has made will be FAR from short-term, but I have faith. I hope you can handle the rocky road ahead of you, you have the following of most American people. You singlehandedly changed history in a short few years. For that, I bow my head, er, maybe I should curtsey. Not sure.

Anyways, with that said, my lovely LPSG friends, how do you feel about this historic day? Feel free to leave your comments. Do you think Obama will fix our beautiful country? Do YOU have faith?

Well in all honesty I don't think he can ever do as bad as President Bush did, so things have got to get at least a little better. Love him or hate him, its in his hands now.

You don't have to like Obama. I think that things will be difficult not because Obama is in office.

We as Americans have to work together. It is every American's concern. We have to protect our economy. We have to resolve our issues in the world. I am not hating on Bush anymore. I am not hating on any Conservative.

Our country is suffering. We have to understand what the honest truth of the matters at hand.

"Do you think Obama will fix our beautiful country? Do YOU have faith?"--Young N Sassy.

I think that Obama can assist in effecting a change with the proper people, plans, and implementations.
I have to have faith that he will help do so. And that Americans can support each other in these endeavors.

I can only hope that he will do what is necessary for the good of the country and its citizens. I can only hope that what Obama does positively--set a standard in Presidential leadership. It is inspirational to me.

For the first-time in US history, there is an African-American as President.

I said straight forward I did not like Obama in the beginning, but I do support him now. That is the point of my blog. He is the leader of my country, and is going to try his hardest to fix our economy. For that, he gains my respect.

Today is the end of Bush's dark secret era, and the dawn of hope, unity, optimism, and progressive era. Congratulations to President Obama !!!

pssssssst, welcome to socialism. democrats control the house, senate, and white house. when obama cuts out all the government handouts to help the economy you'll find it was the same ones who voted for him were expecting a handout. also it is amazing how those who took the chances to gain wealth will probably see the government intervene and redistribute the wealth to those who collect a laziness check from the government. it is already happening with the bailout plan.

I believe that what Obama will accomplish is to re-unite America in such a way that we will all become more concious of the wasting we do. We will become more aware of what we must do. And last we will see that when we work together despite our differences, we will succeed. That is what will fix America, the strength of togetherness. We will support him, we will stand behind him. Will it work?
Yes it CAN!

yeah dump more money into the economy for all the previous financial screw ups. last i heard those execs got their bonuses with the bailout money that we the taxpayers are stuck with paying back. don't believe me? well obama got the second half of the bailout money before he became president. so ya we're all united already.

it takes alot more than one person to "fix" a country

The sad thing is- we still have all the same idiots running companies with the same narrow-minded view of the world.

Rontar, do you not remember that it was that jackoff Bush's idea, to give all the big banks and businesses a bail out. Boy, that was a good idea, help out the beatoffs that started the whole crash.
Obama has a good talk. If he does half of the things that he says it will be better than any of the last worthless republicans that were in office. Remember when Clinton was in office, work was better than ever, almost no unemployment rate. so what if he got a blow job in office, he's not the only one.
