Enjoying modeling

I got into it randomly...a friend asked me whether I could help her art project in grad school where she needed a male model.

And then when she won an award, other artists asked if they could book the model...and well...now it is a big part of my life.

There is something just so amazing about being captured naked and being there for the artist.

I love it!

Nice to hear Preston. I just hope you stay yourself. Sometimes modeling can change people for the better. Sometimes for the worse. Keep your perspective and authenticity and you'll do great. Hit me up if you want to know anything about modeling. I've been a pro photographer for the past 25yrs.

That sounds so fun to be honest and I wish one day I could be modeling for people
Ahh now I see what you replied to. Here's a sample of my work. Is an Xmas card I made the year before my partner died. It's always a rough time of year for me. He died a week before Xmas. I'm glad I took this photo and all the others of him.

"Why the Sun?" Colton asked me after taking it. "Because you're like the Sun to me. Your smile brightens my day no matter how dark my day has been. You bring your light and shine like morning."

I thought we had all the mornings of the world together.... Instead he died in my arms. At least I have all the lovely pics I made of him during our too short time together.

Do as much modeling as you can Preston. Someday when you're old. When people are gone. You'll be very glad you did. And you'll leave behind something beautiful if you go before them.

Sorry I hope this isn't TMI Preston. Is just that I can't talk about modeling without thinking about my BF & how much I loved making his photographs. I think this one ended up running in an ad for Guess jeans.
