Ferry to Ireland

It's been a couple days since I've last written. Left from Wales to Ireland on the ferry. Not a bad way to travel. Then took a bus from the port to get near the hotel. Hey, the sun's shining what more can be asked?

The Irish girls are pretty cute. Lots of eastern European are also around the cosmopolitan area. In fact, seems like encounter more people from Poland than Ireland at times.

went out to dinner at a Japanese restaurant. I think the waitress might have been a little more flirty than the normal tip flirty (seeing as they don't really tip there), or she thought something was, well... 'up' with me. I felt a lot of eyeing below my waist. Quite flattering.

On to the west coast.

Sounds lovely. I wish I could be in Ireland right this minute. East coast would suit me just fine.

BTW, I've made the ferry trip in the other direction - Ireland to France - and aside from the cold I was fighting, I found it really enjoyable.

I'd like to get back to Ireland. I only spent three days around Dublin many moons ago.
I travel by ferry whenever possible. I like the sense of travelling on the surface rather than leaping over it in a plane. Crossed from Harwich to Hoek van Holland and to/from Dover many times. Also Italy to Greece and Turkiye. We have a ferry crossing planned in our 'round the Black Sea trip.
