I am never getting pierced again

When I was in the 2nd grade I had my ears pierced, I was 7 years old; I fainted.

I remember them marking my ears and being embarassed when the woman called over people to look at how small my ears are.

Then I remember that popping sound the piercing gun made. The next thing I can recall is my mom saying, "oh my God, put your head between your legs, put your head between your legs!" After that the next thing I knew everything around me kinda swirled and went from blue to grey to black.

My dad had to carry me out of the jewelry store and when I came to we were in the luncheonette at Britt's department store, with my dad trying to force feed me a buttered bagel.

I was so embarassed! :frown1: My best friend Jill from next door had come along for the ride and she was a year older and already had pierced ears. She was cool though and didn't make fun of me at all.

Dad was convinced I fainted because I hadn't had breakfast. I was convinced I would never have anything pierced on my body again. I kept my word; and he still tries to make me eat breakfast.

Sounds familiar... I had my ears pierced when I was eight. I didn't pass out - I did, however, throw up. Remember feeling dizzy. I did pierce my ears later on, though. And lived through it, barely...

After following the discussions on clit piercings lately, I have been tempted - I understand it's quite pleasurable once the pain goes away. It's just that I really can't think of anywhere else where poking me with a needle would be less pleasurable...

I had my ears pierced at the age of 25. Girl let me tell you folks need to stop lying about it not hurting!!! When the left ear was pierced first, I came up swinging with tears in my eyes. The lady waited for me to stop crying before she pierced my right ear. Some little three year old was laughing at me through the window! I had to lay down the rest of the day and take Tylenol for the pain.

Far better than pierce a lot more on your body. I stopped at the ears, realizing too many small holes here and there all over the body do one thing as you get older. They sag. They get dirt in them, and that can lead to infections.

Some folks set off alarms in airports with their piercings. Not to mention courtrooms.

sounds traumatic.
i understand never wanting another piercing.
your dad sounds like he is cool.
that was an intense story.

i have my ears, one nipple and my tongue pierced and can honestly say the only one that didn't hurt was my tongue. My ears hurt but was livable, but my nipple OMG never again it hurt so bad i almost fainted and took almost a yr before it stopped hurting. I could never do the clit

Good For You, You Shouldn't Be Piercing Or Cutting Or Pumping Ink Into Your Skin At All. It's All Bullshit!

I strongly disagree with you Squabbles911. I was an art history major and I find many tattoos to be quite beautiful.

Many tattoos are true works of art, others are done in memory of a loved one, or to commemorate an important life event. I have no problem with that. If I were of a lighter complexion I would probably have a few myself.

As for mutliple body and face piercings thats just not my thing. I don't hate it, nor do I condemn people who have them, it's just something I would not choose for myself.

It is my understanding that some; but not all people with multiple body piercings do so because they like the pain associated with it. The pain of a piercing is temporary, hence the need for multiple piercings. I am not turned on by pain, so multiple body piercings have no appeal for me personally.

A number of women here have piercings in the vulval area to enhance their sexual pleasure. I am blessed in that I have not needed to do that; yet I am glad they have found a way to enjoy the sexual part of their lives even more.
