I don't want him to go. :(

So, I'm pretty sure the BF is moving back to Texas soon. Like, within a week or so. He can't find work for the life of him. He had an interview last week that he thought went really well, they said they'd contact him this week. He called them Monday and they said they already filled their spots. Why do companies do that? Don't lie like that. If you don't want to hire a person, just tell them that. It isn't hard.

So needless to say, we're both so financially broken that SOMETHING needs to give, so he's going to go back home to try to find some work. It's unfortunate. I really wasn't wanting to do the long distance thing again and me moving down to Texas with him isn't really an option for me right now. I love him so terribly much, I'm gonna be lost without him. Going from holding him every night as we fall asleep and kissing him each day to Skype video chats and text messages. Bleh. I'm so not okay with this. :frown1:

 My heart breaks for you ... hopefully it will be only temporary... thank goodness for the days of tecnology... Back in my younger days it was only the land line telephone that brought distance together.

At least you can see his face when you talk to him. But I know it will be painful... ]

Its certainly not the same as being together and I know it hurts. Skype and chat can help keep you together or put you into such a blue mood after you hang up that you can't function. And function you must. Long distance relationships require extra time and effort. Focus on the keeping together, ways to get together regularly, and on the economic framework to stay together in the long run. People can hold their breath six months, even a year if they get nearer their goal. Hope you find your goal as the two of you together for a long time.
