There are those moments in life where things tend to fall into place at the same time and right now is one of those moments.
I have a job I like, especially with my recent change in schedule to overnights, with co-workers who are awesome and make the time fly by. I have an appointment soon to get Invisalign which will correct something I've been insecure about for years. My ex has finally left me alone and thus my reluctance to meet new women has subsided. I keep on finding myself having to go down a notch on my belt every month, meaning that my tiny diet has been paying off. I also have at last chosen to go with History as my major when I go back to school next semester after a couple of semesters off. All this plus I've been saving money and may be able to upgrade my home theater set-up with a LCD.
I also think I have a crush on a co-worker. She's a bit younger than me, 19, but she is great to be around. We don't share too many shifts but when we do it's always been great. We share many same interests and also have similar senses of humor. I used to be really shy around her but not so much in the past few weeks. I don't quite know if this will develop into anything but for now I'm happy with just feeling things out.
The pessemist in me keeps me from fully appreciating all this good stuff without the lingering doubt that it will end soon but the optimist in me keeps me moving forward and not looking back.
If this blog was a movie then I think this would be the scene where I walk off into the sunset while "Solsbury Hill" plays over the credits. The End.
