Gee, I hope I'm doing this right. I've never blogged before.
I guess my blog will be like many others, just random points of interest to me that for whatever reason I feel are worthy of sharing with the entire world.
I am a Black American Woman, 41.5 yrs young, 5'8" tall, 175 lbs. I am kind, patient, smart, single, have a great sense of humor, and enjoy: museums, antiqueing, going down the shore, walking, swimming, skiing, shopping, plus the usual stuff that everyone likes such as; movies, theater, dining out etc.
I am well educated, and have the student loans to prove it. I am not however, well-versed in politics, economics, wars: all of them not just the current ones, or most sports. That doesn't mean I don't have a basic interest in these areas, but I don't spend a lot of time boning up on them either.
I grew up in New Jersey and recently moved to NW, Georgia.
Though I prefer dating white men, I'm open to dating other nationalities as well, so long as he's a nice person.
Contrary to popular belief my preference for white men isn't based on some bizarre sense of self hate. The truth is I grew up in a white neighborhood so it's just what I'm used to.
I abhor hip-hop, rap, techno-house and most of the stuff of that genre which followed it. I sometimes enjoy listening to the blues; but I hate jazz. That's right I said it loud and proud. I am a black woman who hates jazz music. It always sounds like a bunch of discordant noise to me.That said, I genuinely love classic rock! Give me The Doors, The Eagles, CCW, Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones and I am happy as a clam. I have seen Bruce Springsteen in concert 6 times and Bon Jovi only twice thus far.
