Hello everybody,
As a preface to this blog entry, some weeks ago when the weather began to cooler again, I resumed my long walks. But this time around, I have been inspired to begin an aggressive regimen of walking at least 5-6 miles a day. Such a regimen has begun to transform my physical, emotional, and physical health. Physically these power walks have build up even my biceps and chest in addition to the calves and thighs of my legs, even my abdominals. They have increased greatly my endurance. About an hour ago, I was at my neighborhood seamstress, who is altering some of my trousers. She had a customer there who does pushups and situps daily. That has inspired me to add those exercises to my routine along with other calisthenics. Such exercises will enhance my daily power walks and even my doing the Kegel Exercises.
I dedicate these blog entries to BateWorld member, StrokingRunner. That's his BW ID. He is a guy who lives in Western Maryland, who told me recently about his use of the Kegels in his life. He has inspired me to begin ambitious program of daily Kegel Exercises.
Here is what I encountered today in my working with the Kegel Exercises:
You can do them almost everywhere and not be noticed. Of course there are times when you can't do the Kegel Exercises such as times when you have to concentrate on something else. The Kegel Exercises to be effective require focused concentration. Just imagine flexing or clutching the muscles of your anus, those surrounding your prostate, those attached to your testicles and scrotum, and the muscle at the root of your penis called the bulbocavernosus muscle (BC).
Generally the Kegels are done in sets of various duration and intensity with periods of rest between each set. As with weight training, the Kegel Exercises should be started off slowly. If fatigue sets in, stop, take a rest, perhaps for the rest of the day. An injury such as a pulled groin muscle can result from overuse of the Kegels. That sort of injury is common among baseball players. Ideally wearing a jockstrap should prevent such injuries.
I have been doing the Kegels off and on sitting in my chair before my PC with both my feet flat on the floor. I even done the Kegels on the bus and subway, even in church.
But late this afternoon, I made a discovery. I crossed my legs in gentlemanly fashion and did the Kegels. I could feel my scrotum rising and falling as I did each clutch. That was interesting, but it certainly felt good.
So doing the Kegel Exercises methodically with care is just like weight training, working out in a gym. But my experience with them so far is that they are erotic and certainly do feel good!
Flexing these muscles at the seat of your manhood, I discovered today, is that the flexing sent blood to my testicles to the point that my scrotum had that engorged feeling. I do not know if that is good for you, but at least in my case, it definitely felt good!
Another variation one may try is to wear your favorite jockstrap, one that fits you and supports both your scrotum and penis and see how it feels. I hope to do that more in the days to come and give you periodic reports of my findings here.
Speaking of jockstraps, some months ago, I did the Kegel Exercises wearing a jockstrap with an athletic cup. I am wearing right now my favorite jock cup combo and I must say that really, really feels real good and erotic. Perhaps the best jock cup combo on the market is the All-Star "Shock Jock" Cup and Supporter combo. I have quite few of them in my collection. I hope to do the Kegels wearing this jock cup combo at least a part of them.
Right I gave as reference two resources on the Internet: (1)
Kegel Exercises For Men from AskMen. This article gives a good training regimen for the Kegels.
(2)
Locating the bc muscle, which also is informative.
Remember these exercises should feel good. They will gradually strengthen these muscles which should enhance your sex life. But if you should get fatigued or feel pain from them, stop and take a rest from them.
Take care,
Thom./BigGlansDC
