off the table

Marjorie informed us (the other guy and me) today that she's going to drive alone to the meeting. She said it's too tough to work her personal schedule with our schedules. Etc.

Completely understandable, and she has valid reasons.

By avoiding several hours alone in the car with me, she's so obviously admitting that she's into me. :tounge-in-cheek: Whereas, if she drove with me, it would mean she's so not into me that spending all that time alone would be meaningless. And maybe it was her husband's idea to nix the shared trip. :biggrin1:

Actually, I feel relieved. It would have been awkward to go together.

Am I right? Or am I right?

my first thought is you are overthinking this...

my second thought is that she is very smart and whether the need to drive is legit or not, she is placing that barrier between the two of you. (You both obviously need the space and it will help you both.)

My third thought.. since I read your last post first.... is that she very likely IS into you ... and you really haven't discouraged her at all... hmmm.. I think you might be into her too (ok WATCH the "into it" jokes) :lmao:
