Poetry: Supplicant's Sigh

Honeyed lips and sweetened tongue
An ear bent while I sing praises.
Laying down my armament like the petals of a rose.
Many a Goddess tempted this path,
I no less embodied than they.
First a gown to pool at my feet,
my hair the only edifice of modesty.
It is with these womanly curves and hesitant trepidation,
that I entrust all of me unto you.
Take care to treat me kindly..
