That, in my opinion, has to be a consequence of this new gay/straight rating system going around. After all, the church is against both gays and condoms and most assuredly against prostitution. But this new statement acknowledges all three.
It's now "burned into stone" that these things exist! It is now accepted that they exist, and so they must be discussed. In the next go around, anyone who talks seriously about these things will first need to define the terms. Oh my. Guess what the impact of "percentages of gay/straight is going to do to the debate? If a few gay experiences doesn't make one gay, then we need to know how many is "a few".
