Proud & Worried

Proud because I 'ghost wrote' an MBA dissertation and achieved a pass. Worried for the exact same reason.

What does it say about the education when someone with no prior knowledge of a subject matter can write a 15,000 word dissertation in a week and pass? Given that the university recommend at least one year to do the entire thing.

I mean...MBA is supposed to be for 'Masters' in a chosen subject field. This worries me.

As an aside, I earned quite a nice fee for my effort.

But still...I wonder how many other 'Masters' I could steal from within the shadows

Of course, it depends entirely on which institution awarded the degree, but in many cases in the UK, the claim that MBA in fact stands for 'Means Bugger All' is not without some basis in fact.

It's certainly a rather different beast to other Master's degrees, and I've spoken to various people who work in university administration in Britain who have hinted (or acknowledged outright, depending on how drunk they were at the time ) that the MBA has established itself as something of a cash cow for funding-strapped academic institutions, and little more than that.

It's only a Masters. It may help him get his foot in the door to a job, but he'll have to prove his worth after that.

Only a Masters!?! :wtf1: :12:
njqt466 smacks jovial around for being so arrogant and condescending. :irked:

Yeah apparently this has made him able to get £100,000 a year jobs as standard. That's about $180,000-$200,000

I wonder what my cut of that will be lol. I suppose Masters or at least this one was a test of perseverance rather than knowledge.
