I got this recipe from a stoner named Erin with whom I used to work back in the summer of 1989. It's quick and easy and everyone loves it. Hmmm, come to think of it, that's a pretty good description of Erin . . . :tongue::biggrin1:
That Seafood Dip
8 oz. softened cream cheese
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
Dash of salt
Dash of pepper
Zesty cocktail sauce (1/3 to 1/2 bottle)
10-12 oz sea legs aka imitation crabmeat.
(DO NOT use real crab, shrimp or lobster! )
Chop the imitation crab meat into very small pieces. Mix all above ingredients in small bowl with a fork. It will look a bit like lumpy puke. Serve on Ritz or Town House crackers. It tastes best on a buttery cracker. Goes great with beer wine or soda.
