THE BIG PICTURE

To avoid any confusion, I’m going to try to lay out the big picture about what the Path of Eros is all about. First of all, this isn’t a bunch of fantasy or role play. It’s a combination of serious, practical techniques that can transform every part of ourselves through practices related to the body and libido, such as conscious bodybuilding, cock training, cum training, mindful stroking, nip, perineum, and ass training, erotic expansion, and liberation (aka awakening and transcendence).

In the Path of Eros, some people choose to focus only on the physical aspects of practices, which is fine, because significant gains can be made in all these areas. While most people are familiar with the kinds of gains that can be made by bodybuilding, once we have the right combination of know-how, dedication, nutrition, and supplementation, not everyone realizes that major gains can be made in working with the cock — some guys gain 2 or 2 1/2” in length, an inch or more in girth, reduce or increase curvature, and make significant progress in foreskin restoration if interested. Meanwhile, by cutting back in how often we cum, we can make much more energy available for building muscle, creativity, awakening, or getting shit done. That doesn’t mean we have to avoid sexual activities entirely. (On the contrary, we can do a thorough program of cock training, stroking, or intimate relations, but as long as we don’t cum as frequently, that just makes more energy available.)

However, in addition to physical gains, far more is possible. While many wisdom traditions ignore the body and the libido, or treat them as obstacles on the path of personal and spiritual evolution, in the Path of Eros we recognize the body and libido as two of our most powerful tools. As The Book of Eros puts it, “The cock is sacred, the balls are sacred, the ass is sacred. Desire is sacred, lack of desire is sacred. Absolutely everything everywhere is sacred, no matter how mundane or profane it may seem.”

Everything in the Path of Eros can be approached at multiple different levels. There is the level of the literal physical practices, such as cock training, conscious bodybuilding, cum training, nip, perineum, and ass training, etc., but that is just the beginning. Along with the practices of mindful stroking, erotic expansion, and liberation (aka awakening or transcendence), these practices fit together into an overall full path of personal and spiritual development that is no less powerful a vehicle than more well-known traditions like Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Daoism. If people want to focus only on the physical level, that’s fine, but I would be remiss in my responsibilities as a coach and a human being if I didn’t make clear the entirety of what’s possible.

Literally thousands of years have been spent fleshing out various different traditions, spelling out all the answers to the big questions we might have, such as who we fundamentally are, what the relationship is between the body, mind, energy, and soul, how we can awaken to our full potential?, and how we are all connected to the same vast Oneness (whether we call it the sacred, the divine, God, Allah, the Dao, the Source, the Brahman, the holographic universe, the Bulk, or simply everything-that-is).

By no means does the Path of Eros have any intention of ignoring the millennia of wisdom that have been built up from all the wisdom traditions over the entire planet. On the contrary, we try to show how these traditions are all pointing to the same ultimate destination, that all path leads the same place. However, most traditions leave out key pieces from the full map of being, especially how to work as effectively with our bodies and the libido. That’s a very charged subject after all, and is not easy to talk about, much less demonstrate in practical and explicit terms what it means to open the various energy centers from the base of our spine to the crown of our heads, and what that has to do with our cocks or vaginas, asses, and nipples, and how desire can be used a powerful tool in that process of opening and awakening. In fact, the libido is one of the most valuable and helpful tools in our path of personal and spiritual development, as long as we approach it appropriately.

Like all wisdom traditions, the Path of Eros is more than just a series of practices. There also are certain beliefs that have been a part of our tradition since its founding, but everyone is of course encouraged to make up their own mind about what they believe.

For example, the prevailing understanding of the Garden of Eden is that our ancient ancestors were kicked out of a blissful, more ‘perfect’ existence because they did something sinful, eating the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. However, the Path of Eros offers two more positive ways of understanding the Garden of Eden. One interpretation is that we chose to leave the Garden of Eden and come to this physical world, so we can experience the full range of what is possible, do whatever we choose, and learn as a result. The second interpretation is that the reason we left the Garden of Eden is due to shame — if we feel shame about our bodies and our natural human desire, that lowers our frequency and we drop out of full connection with the Divine. Neither interpretation should be understood as condoning any kind of immoral or inappropriate sexual activity, as we still need to do our best to be good people and act appropriately. However, a great many people feel ashamed of their bodies and of normal, natural sexual desire, and that is a scourge that needs to end.
Another question the Path of Eros encourages people to ask is if there is an upper level of being, such as what Jesus called the Kingdom of Heaven, Buddhists might call Nirvana or the Buddha self, others might call the higher self, paradise, Eden, or many other names. Whether we talk about it as part of our own self, or as a different level of existence, there is another way of being that we may experience briefly during orgasm, as well as during deep meditation, awakening experiences, visions, and certain other experiences. If we are acting appropriately, there is nothing at all wrong with healthy sexual behavior, and it is one of the easiest ways to catch glimpses of the upper realm. It does need to be approached respectfully, though, so if we choose, sexual acts can be treated as sacred (it can still be hot as fuck, while still being sacred). If we are caught up in shame, anger, sadness, or other so-called ‘negative’ emotions, however, we will always remain at our ordinary way of being, or the lower level (which is another whole topic).

THE KEY POINT

The overall point of stimulating our libido and working with the body is to wake up our fundamental, inborn energy, as in what is sometimes called kundalini energy. That literally means ‘the coiled one’, and refers to the way that sinuous motion can help awaken this energy, such as moving with the base of the spine in a circular motion or back and forth, side to side, or different ways of helping energy travel smoothly up and down the spine, which often happens naturally during sexual acts. Together with physical stimulation, we also need to allow our reservoir of sexual fluids to fill up, i.e. what the yogic system calls the second chakra, while Traditional Chinese Medicine calls the tanden or ‘ocean of elixir’.

Once our energy is awakened, it’s like having a powerful battery for our engine, and this energy can be used for anything we need — building muscle, creativity, or allowing our energy to flow up the spine to the crown of the head. If all our energy centers are open enough along the way, or if our energy is strong enough to push through, that can trigger experiences of what is sometimes called awakening, transcendence, illumination, satori, moksha, liberation, and many other names. It’s basically an explosion of energy that travels all the way up the spine and out the crown of the head. There is an immense more to say about it, but in this brief summary I’ll just say that it is completely transformative and is the ultimate goal of every spiritual tradition on the planet, whether they remember it or not.

I know from personal experience that these practices work, because they're what I used for years and ended up facilitating my own awakening experience, and since then I've refined the practices to be able to share with others.

If none of that makes sense, feel free to ask me, or just let it go for now. Everything happens in its own time, but I at least want to help people know that there are options beyond just physical and mental growth.

There are many different ways to take things to the next level, in all parts of our lives. When working out, we feel like we can’t squeeze out another rep, but we can suddenly get a second wind and find strength we never knew we had. Sometimes our thoughts are what provides additional resolve and determination to keep going; sometimes our body finds a way to dig deep and coordinate in a more effective way; sometimes we may need a jolt of caffeine, or the external stimulation of a Coach or workout buddy, the right music, or erotic stimulation.

Regardless, there are many ways to take things to the next level, not just when we are working out, but in all aspects of our lives. We normally live life on a scale of 1 to 10, on a scale of our intensity, focus, and dedication, not realizing that we can reach 100, 1,000, or 1 million with the right tools and training. So much more is possible, let’s get on with it already!
