Sometimes change is a necessary evil and sometimes we want to change. It could be something as simple as changing the style of clothes we wear, who we hang out with, or we change our occupations. The toughest change is when a doctor looks at you and tells you you must make changes in your life or you will die.
So recently, I've been told to change my diet. Gone is my beloved bacon, entering into a world of fruit and vegetable infused waters. Not drinking 50 gallons of coffee a day anymore, and I'm walking and taking water aerobics. Do I like these changes? NOT ON YOUR LIFE! Am I doing it? Oh hell yes! I have reasons to change.
So far, it's only been two full days since I was given the directive by the Doctor to change, and I haven't noticed an increase in sexual drive. My sex drive dive bombed after the beginning of menopause. They tell me that once the hormones get balanced, that will change and I will have more desire.
I mostly get annoyed when people keep after me and keep after me, but I am trying to not be a bitch about it.
Well, here it is, the start of Day 2 of the Diet Change, and I think I'm going to use this blog as a way to not only be able to keep myself sane, but maybe somewhere on this site, there is someone else going through this too, now they will know they are not alone...
