Torque's Cock Pumping Advice

After pumping my cock for 10 years, decided to write this blog. The main reason is that on a weekly basis I usually receive 2 to 4 PM’s asking for advice. I realize that there are a lot of pumpers with more experience than I. However, I started pumping when I was 22 and in my first year of med school. Most of my colleagues today would be horrified if they knew that I was an avid cock pumper and question my reasoning. I pump primarily for girth and secondly for pleasure, generally aiming for a natural, yet enlarged look without too much of a donut. In 10 years, I've achieved permanent gains of 0.7 inches in length and 1 inch in circumference so that my current erect size is 8.3 X 6.5. My advice for beginners:
1. Apply lubricant to both the flared area of the cylinder and to the body part which you are pumping to help create a good vacuum seal. My favorites are Albolene and K-Y. I also apply at lot to the head so that it stays moist during the 15-20 minutes in the tube.
2. Pump gently until you find the best comfort level for you. Each person’s comfort level is different. Do not be surprised if your scrotum is pulled into the cylinder too, this is normal and can add to the pleasurable experience. To avoid having your scrotum sucked into the tube, I often wear a ball restrainer or loosely tie them off with a piece of surgical tubine. Alternatively, pull down on your balls as you pump and until the seal is established in the cylinder.
3. I strongly suggest that you not pump for more than 15 to 20 minutes at a time. Pump only to a level of comfort, never past that point. This can be different for each individual, as tissue types vary from person to person. Take it easy! If you experience any physical discomfort, discontinue, break the vacuum and start over. It is not necessary to use a lot of pressure to get good results. If your pump has a gauge, pressure levels should be kept between 4 and 6 hg of mercury. If it does not have a gauge, please experiment with your comfort level. I like to place a condum (nipple cut off) over the head/foreskin and the first couple of inches of foreskin to keep it from ballooning. This will keep it from being puffy and resulting in a donut. Believe me, I’ve tried surgical tapes and other things, however nothing beats a tight condum. Just make sure that you cut the nipple end.
4. As your cock, over a period of time, increases in length/girth you will need to move up to a larger tubes. What I’ve found over the years is that with a tight tube, you’ll achieve increases in length. I generally start my first 20 minute session in my 10 X 2 tube. Have to use a lot of lube and start out soft as my normal circumference exceeds that of the tube. Thus, at about 17 or 18 minutes, I normal pack the entire tube except for some air near the quick release. Then to achieve maximum girth, I switch to either the 10 X 2.25 or 10 X 2.5 tube. As the tube is a bit loose along the shaft, you can experience maximum increases in girth.
5. Heat cam help with the expansion and softening of tissue. I like to pump immediately after a warm shower. During my first couple of years, I used an electric heating pad.
6. I also prefer to shave or trim the hair at the base of the pubes to help maintain a good vacuum seal.
7. Clean your cylinder with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use alcohol, as it will degrade the cylinder.

I have been pumping for a similarly long time and through the years I hav discovered that for a more natural appearance to the end product, it is better to take a long and low approach.

Pump for 15-20 minutes with 3-5 minute breaks between sessions continuously for over 3 hours. Keep the vacuum at about 2 - 4 mm Hg.

I occasionally pump up to 6 as well but i have foudn much better results going at low vacuums.
 
All of my 4 cylinder are from Vacu-Tech in California. They were special ordered several years ago for they’re 10 inch (what most guys start out with is a 9 X 2. Before I ordered them, I had pumped my cock with a college buddy and found that with a 9 X 2 that the entire tube was basically packed at the end of two 20 minute sessions. Thus I called them and got a 10 X 2 as my first cylinder. In subsequent years, I’ve purchased a 10 X 2.25, a 10 X 2.5 and a 10 X 2.75. With the two larger diameter ones, it takes about 7 twenty minute sessions….usually don’t have the time nor the inclination to get such a extreme girth.
The hand-pump I’m currently using is a 4th replacement that I got from an auto supply store (intended for pumping brake fluid) and a bit cheaper than what you’ll find at penis pump sites. Guess I'm fairly hard on hand pumps having worn 3 out in 10 years. Have a small electric pump also but don't use it much as I hate the sound.....can't hear the moaning in the vids that I watch while pumping. Definitely get one with a gauge and not a bulb type that you’ll find with the toys in sex shops.
 
Do you jelq or stretch your penis before, between, or after sessions? How many 20 minute sessions do you do per day? What is your pump schedule?
 
I generally jelq in the morning; never within an hour of pumping. I usually pump twice a week when my lady's at work. Usually only 4 sessions with 10 minute breaks. Seldom have more than a couple of hours to spare about every third day. On a rare occasion, I may pump as many as 7 sessions ending up with the 10 X 2.75 tube.
 
dumb question, what is jelq?
i also heard that if you balls get pulled into the tube you will not get the girth as much as if they were not in the tube.
let me know your thought on that and what jelq is :)

Yes, I also pump both nips (after removing the ring from right pierced nipple) using a Y-connector.
 
I have been using a pump for about 2 months. I'm not sure if I have been pumping to vigourously because I have seen some minor bruising. Are there any downsides to pumping? As far as the strength of erections go?
 
Many of us, in the early stages of our pumping, have experienced minor bruising and a few bliisters if we get carried away and ignore proper pressures. With time, depending on the frequency of pumping a lot of guys notice a darkening of their cock. I've not experienced any downsides nor the strength of my erections.

Hi all, my lady had early shift at the hospital this morning (8-8-2010), so I decided to make this a pump and jelq day. Generally alternate the two PE exercises, but there’s been so many questions as to whether anyone does them together that I’d try it again. When to the gym for cardio (20 mins on the ellip), ran the rack (dumbbell curls) to pump my biceps, and another 15 mins of cardio (jogging on the treadmill). Came home, showered and did the following routine:
5 Minute hot towel warm-up after drying off::
10 Min basic stretching of my cock
100 Jelqs - for those of you not familiar with jelqing, you grasp the base of the penis between index and middle finger of one hand and gathering up all the loose skin (if uncircumcised) between those two fingers, press them against the pubic bone. (This will probably cause a mild erection.) With the other hand -thumb nearest the abdomen- make an "O" (as in the o.k. hand sign) with the index finger and thumb. Now squeeze very tightly and slowly, and over a period of two to three seconds move the "O" down the shaft forcing blood ahead of it into the head. Slide back with no pressure to the starting point, and repeat. Then repeat this again up to 100 strokes or five minutes, which ever is first.

Chrisone, tho I can easily pack my 10 x 2.25 cylinder at a couple of twenty minute pumping sessions, my natural erect gains (8.3 X 6.5 unpumped after 48 hrs) are modest in comparison with a lot of the claims (crap?) that you find on the internet. At 22, I wasn't exactly small when I started.
 
When I was in my early twenties (undergraduate school), before I started vacuum pumping, my erect cock was 7.6 X 5.5.

Have never had a problem with stamina. There again, I'm a bodybuilder and on numerous supplements which probably help. As I've got a show coming up late this month, I've only jelqed for the last 6 weeks and avoided the pump. Overworking? Perhaps, but I exercise caution (know my limits and seldom do extreme pumping), thus avoiding bruising, blisters, vessel and skin damage, etc. Like most things, if you stay within the rules, it's safe.
