Ugh..stiff

Second workout of the new year. I feel pretty decent. Except for this stiffness I'm beginning to feel. I did some stretching to try and make sure I don't double over in pain tomorrow when I get out of bed.

The gym was semi crowded. Apparently, the local high school has some of its teenage sportsmen go to the gym to work out. I don't know what sport they played. They didn't look all that big, so football is out. They were benching more than me, though....so I can't say a whole lot more about them.

I am definitely going to need a workout partner if I workout at the Cockeysville gym. The majority of the equipment there is geared towards the free weights. As I'm nowhere near as strong or fit as I used to be, I can already see myself being pinned under 105# of weight. The embarrassment.

There were some cute guys there too, but other than them passing through my field of vision, I wasn't to preoccupied with them. That's good. I'm usually like a bobblehead when in the gym. Seriously though, I need to see if any of those guys will workout with me. I didn't have a real intense workout today, but I did get off my arse and do one. So, it's a start.

Good for you!! Keep it up one day at a time. Dont forget to drink lots to keep those nasty toxins out of your system. If it wasn't for a ruptured disk in my back I'd be doin it too.......Its nice that you have something to look at while your bustin you butt....other butts!!!
 
Sounds like a great start...keep it up and before you know it you will see the results that you want. Let me know how it is going. If I were in Baltimore, I would meet you at the gym...used to attend JHU. Take care bro...
