Yes! When I lost about 30lbs I noticed my penis was significantly longer because there was less public fat at the base of it

Precisely. I tell overweight patients that weight loss the most effective penis enlargement strategy that will also make you live longer.

What does it take to lose the fat pad around the penis? I'm losing weight and my fat pad appears to be getting bigger. I've lost close to 3 inches because of the fat pad. That's the place I started gaining weight. I'm 65lbs over weight. I've been put on Androgel after getting over a benign pituitary tumor. I've been on Androgel for almost two years now. Even with everything I'm doing, losing weight is not happening. I've cut sugar, carbs, eat under 2000 calories a day, stay active, and lift weights. I thought I would be able to lose 10lbs a month and just stick to a good diet and keep being active. I'm 41 and can't break into the sub 200lb area.

look into intermittent fasting and OMAD (one meal a day) fasting... as well as HIIT (high intensity interval training).

Thanks. I have looked into the day on day off fasting. Not true fasting as the day off, you only eat 500 calories max until the day can be completely skipped without eating. I have started working on that last week. So far, I'm able to keep a regular diet of under 2000 calories on my meal days and stay right close to 500 on my snack days. It's pretty difficult. I hope I can get to the point I can skip meals every other day. I can't do HIIT. I have a spinal condition, two bad knees, two bad shoulders, and a failing left ankle. The weight lifting I mentioned is pretty light. I lift to maintain my core strength. I bench about 60lbs, curl about 8lbs each arm, and my leg lifts are about 75lbs with both legs. I go until my joints start to feel it. Somedays, I can do three sets of 20. Somedays I can only manage three sets of 5. In between I do some physical therapy I was taught by my PT guy.

Read South Beach Diet book. Basically, more protein, fewer carbohydrates (particularly simple ones). And you need to do both resistance and aerobic exercise.

The problem is, once you've been *significantly* overweight, your body's outer shell (that is, your skin) stretches and eventually grows to encapsulate everything within. And, when you lose body fat - especially if the loss exceeds a few pounds per month - the skin does not shrink accordingly. So, you end up with lots of excess skin, especially around the waist, and most of that droops down and resembles the fat pad that never goes away.

People that lose lots of weight often need surgery to remove this excess skin because it will never go away on its own.

That is kind of the idea behind my meals on the days I have defined as my full meal days. I do a bit of cardio and yoga-ish type exercises that fit in with the physiotherapy my PT guy showed me. Not so much resistance exercises, unless lifting light weight is considered a type of resistance exercise.

I'm not experiencing lose skin yet. I am expecting it though. I'm not sure I'll go through surgery unless it's really bad.
