“The Jock” - Taul Bauer Casting Choice

This is a question for the people who read Tal Bauer’s novel “The Jock”. Personally after Call Me By Your Name, it is my favorite MM romance I had the pleasure to read so far and I would love if they made a movie adaptation of the book. I think it would be a good idea because beside being a very romantic story between two young men, it touches serious topics like homosexuality in sports and that’s time we finally destroy the toxic homophobic and sexist environment surrounding the football world. So I wondered who would be a perfect choice to play the two leading characters of the novel and I came up with these two names: the actor Chad Buchanan for the part of the “football” star Wes and social media influencer Aidan Alexander for the ballet dancer Justin. What do you think? Who would be the perfect cast choice if you had two pick two guys for this movie adaptation?
