Whatever challenges his future choices may bring. You won't be the one watching his back.

Your freedom to speak your feelings is just one of the of the freedoms our young men and women protect when they honor us with there service.

Big life changes bring butterflies, whether it's setting off for boot camp, getting married, starting a new career, first day of kindergarten/high school/college/grad school, whatever. You're heading outside your comfort zone and if you weren't nervous I'd be concerned.

Best of luck to you, you sound like someone who has his head screwed on straight and knows exactly what you are doing and why. That's a rare thing to find in folks of any age these days.

Keep Well, for the period
currently watching 'surviving the cut'
geuss that may be a little more advanced than boot camp

Depends on what portion you're watching. Marine Boot is 12 weeks opposed to the Army's 8 weeks because they tie in more training.

Monday is fast approaching and my excitement is growing at an exponential pace. The nervousness is still there but I'm more giddy than anything else.
