10+ Erections per day ?

Supposedly average guys get 10+ Erections per day ? and think about sex what is it ? every 6 seconds or something absolutely mind-numbingly stupid like that .

Where do these idiotic numbers come from ?

I must be very far from average, because on average I will get ONE erection naturally probably every 2-3 days and again on average I would think about sexprobably ONCE per day. Of course with stimulation I could easily get 10+ erections and if I wanted to I could think about sex every 6 seconds as well, but unless you live in some type of bizarre Pornoland where there is non-stop stimulation and nothing to do but get erections all the livelong day then sure -
I can see it as being possible - but who does these moronic polls and even worse what type of fools say they get these kind of stats on a daily basis ?

Yeah I certainly don't get anything NEAR 10 per day! Good lord. Although maybe when I was 15 or 16 I could have, if I'd had, like you said the time & place, etc. My life was too busy then & it's too busy now. I do generally wake up with one, and if i touch it or my wife touches it then sure, it'll get hard. I'm wondering how many guys around my age (41) can get hard by just thinking about sexual thoughts or being kissed or flirted with or something - NOT with direct stimulation of penis? Because that is something I've noticed does NOT seem to happen very often, for me.

I agree this is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. If I ever had a day where I kept my numbers down to 10 erections a day, I'd be in shock. I probably have twice that amount, often three times. The only possible way that they could come up with such a ridiculously low number is if they were averaging me with some guy that only had like one... Oh, never mind. I see.

Yeah, I probably get about 10 a day.. I'm 18 years old. I think about sex every time I see a hot guy... lol. I dunno if it's every 6 seconds... probably every 6 minutes. I'm 42 years old and get easially 15-20 erections a day. Sometimes for no reason. All I have to do is think about sex and it starts growing, or see a hot guy, or kiss, hug, sometimes even holding hands. I have no idea why and I have no control over it. i think its obviously a skewed experiment, cuz if you're signed up for some thing & a doctor says "ok, mark down every time you get an erection, and every time you think about sex", you're obviously going to be preoccupied

either you'll be focused on getting an erection so the number will go up, or you'll be so worried about being below average that you might psyche yourself out completely...

I don't think there is anything wrong though if you don't get an erection that often. I could imagine if you are married, and getting all the sex you want, it isn't going to happen that much. Stress for me is a major hardon killer. If I am going crazy at work, it hardly ever happens. So maybe some guys are just more relaxed than others. Maybe some or so busy they are not noticing whether they have erections during the day

I don't know about the every 6 second thing.
