Thank you a million times over! The basic tenet of homeopathy is so ridiculous on its face...I can't believe how many people are so willing to hand over so many millions of dollars for snake oil.
And thank you for using the word "tenet" where it belongs, instead of writing "tenant" in its place, as seems to be becoming increasingly common.

The really terrible news about homeopathy is that it has gotten itself adopted into the National Health Service of the UK. You might enjoy this British video parody of a television show about homeopathic "doctors":

A more straightforwardly informative treatment can be found in this video:

No, thank YOU!

All I ask for is reproduceable results in my medical treatment.

Homeopathy can't provide that.

End of story.

It's hard not to find homeopathy in so many other forms of treatment that is non-invasive, like therapeutic massage. So many people who do it want to throw teas, supplements and weird things at you to solve your problems. I don't like that. I'm a very medical person with a lot of medical knowledge so it's hard for me to be sold on those ideas. There is such a huge placebo effect when it comes to that stuff. Some of us aren't as easily placebo'd so to speak.

Before Christianity in Northern Europe, life was cold, hard, brutal & fucking short - so all the historians (including the atheists say).

Northern Europeans did pretty well after that!

But now we have the new belief systems too:

Diversity: If you don't go along with this specious shit, wrapped in a bubble of inclusiveness, but actually a tool of separation, & community( or nationality) discohesion - you'll find yourself ostracised by major employers & the media.

Hate Crimes: All crimes against the person are f*cking hate crimes - why discriminate? Fat people, political beliefs, & an unlimited number of other crimes of "just because" are not included. Some hate is better than others, it's a fact.

Global warming: Query extrapolations, request hard raw data for analysis, & you're labelled a denier, in this modern day heresy.

A return to the good ole days a new Secular Inquisition looms.

I understand that in the US(& the Middle East), people take their religion, quite a lot more seriously than everyone else...

...but just listen to those wankers in Prius', middle class twonks bleating about the 3rd world, Peta, & animal activists, preaching from their fucking sanctimonius pulpits...

And you'll realize, it ain't just religious people who have to change, & it ain't just religious people trying to force their putrid belief systems & values down the masses unwilling throats.

Indoctrination is in the hands of the media - & which of those major stalwarts is religious?

Edit:

Re: Homeopathy, I've no idea how useful it is, but look up Iatrogenic deaths (medical treatment caused - allopathic), & also consider, what kind of sh*tty world we live in when so many kids are prescribed Class A drugs (Ritalin etc), that just continue the bullshit reliance on drugs, drugs & more drugs (look up Baritz), creating generations of childlike adults, who can't function without a fix!

When I lived in Dallas I had a bumper sticker that read "Jesus Please Save Me From Your Followers". Prior to that I had one that read "The Christian Right is Neither". The first one was on a new BMW 5series. The second was on a new Jetta. In the Jetta I would sometimes get angry, rabid responses from "Christians". On the BMW I never had one incident............................ Well you know how Dallas Queens are.

That has to say something about the citizens of Dallas but I can't fathom it being anything good.

One of my personal faves reads:
Jesus loves you; everyone else thinks you're an asshole

Fucking hell. If someone can manage to copy and paste text, he should be able to use the fucking "Quote" button.

I know. I hate it when members on boards with "quote" functions don't/don't know how to quote. That, and people who start a new line with every sentence.
