Man, I just paid 10 bucks for a rice sock I could have made myself for cheaper. I was at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and asked for the heating pads. What I got was "The Original Bed Buddy" microwave heat-pack.

I thought to myself, "this better not be a rice sock. I mean, my understanding is that those wear out after so many uses."
I thought that the material inside might be some space aged material that can absorb heat over and over. But no, its rice. I recognize the smell after heating it. And nothing on the box or instrctions say it is rice or that it will eventually wear out. But its rice.

This is just a warning to you all. No need to pay $10 for a rice sock you can make for less than 5 bucks.

From http://www.lpsg.org/1612302-post2.html

Take a clean sweat sock, and fill it more than half way with uncooked rice. Place it in a microwave under enough time and power so that the rice gets to the desired temperature.

WARNING- The time and power is something that you're going to have to experiment with depending on several factors (the size of the sock, the power of the microwave, etc.)

You do NOT want to overheat the rice sock! You can cause SERIOUS burns if you miscalculate on the power and the time!

Once the rice sock is heated to the desired temperature, insert your semi-erect penis into the sock. The heated rice inside the sock will warm your penis up in much the same way as a hot wrap.

I tried the orginal rice sock but did not like putting my penis into the actual rice. I kept thinking a grain is going to go into my pee hole or a grain is going to get stuck somewhere unnoticed since I am uncut and get bacteria since it is rice. And then it gets messy because there are grains everywhere.

I am sticking to Hot wraps and hot water/ cup dips. I actually had to get another cup because I out grew the last one. Thats progress baby!!!!

yeah, i don't think you want to stick your dick inside a sock full of rice. you've got the right idea wish-4-8.

you should be able to make a rice sock for way less than $5 even. socks go missing all the time. next time you find a clean one without a mate in the laundry, you've got a sock ("free"). white rice is dirt cheap. i'd say 1 to 1-1/2 cups of rice is less than a buck.

tie that sock shut with a knot and wrap it around your dick. easy.

i wonder if different grains hold the heat longer...

You don't have to put your penis into the rice itself. The sock should be loose enough so that you can tie it up and drape the sock over your entire penis.

Actually, in an attempt to salvage my percieved loss, I did start using it that way. I like to use it while doing my stretches. I just had one session with it.

I am just mad that I bought it thinking it was something else. I actually had already made a rice sock and still have it.
