i was pretty bored with most of the pics, because it was mostly the same from previous years...but being the Emmys, that tends to happen.

though i did smile at Lee Pace being nominated for Pushing Daisies. He's too adorable on that show, and provides so many swoon worthy moments.

This scene in particular where he puts on that dopey smile and gushes to Chuck that all he needs in life is her. *swoons*

YouTube - Pushing Daisies 1 x 06 - "What do you need to be happy?"

I'm not a swoon type of guy, but this show makes me do it. :p

and i was surprised that none of the Housewives were nominated. It was good that they didn't eat a whole category like previous times, but at least nominate Marcia Cross (who deserved it a long time ago) and Dana Delany (who added so much to the show)

plus, i hope Kyra Sedwick wins the Emmy.

i can't believe they have a category for reality host now... sheesh.

i'm glad that Grey's Anatomy didn't get a nod for Drama Series. Nice that there are six nominees too.

too bad there isn't any love for Mary McDonnell as President Roslin. At least BSG got a nod for Directing.

i agree with Will on the Pushing Daisies love. Although I'm more happy that Miss Chenoweth got nominated that Lee Pace's nom. and also, with the omission of Marcia Cross. although I'm rooting for Tina Fey, so at least there's one less competition for her.

I wish they were showing some of the other shows here in NZ, like Breaking Bad and In Treatment. So I can look if they do deserve the noms.

I wonder when the Emmy love for Boston Legal would end.

I don't watch Damages. Is it any good?

Dude, youre obsessed with that hideous little turd. You wont be happy until youve sucked it, fucked it and chucked it!

Anyway, back to the topic. I cant get excited about TV folk. Theyre just 2nd class compared to film stars. Its always the same nominees too. Boring! Some of the categories are just desperate.
