Last years thread was fun, so I'm starting a new one.

I did this yesterday in front of my house.
It's always hard to take pics of lights, But the tree is an artificial that I set out there. The strings of lights are hanging from the maple trees above.

I haven't done my big tree. I need help doing it, and everybody's been busy.
I'll try to get a photo of the outdoor decorations posted.

It's always one of the best things about going to the USA or Canada for Christmas. All the lights are so much fun to drive around and look at. We never do the tree or decorations until the week before.

Yesterday was really nice weather and I wanted to get it done. Plus, I am going away for a week and this makes the house look occupied. Typically, I wait until December 1 to actually turn them on.

Thanks for the compliments. As an Architect, I try to do something different and unique every year.

I was a little early this year and got all the decoration done by Mid November. I didn't turn on the lights before Thursday though.
    Here are some pics:

And my Christmas Wreath. I am not sure if they do this in the US, but in Germany we have a wreath with 4 candles, the is being lit the 4 Sundays before Christmas. The 4th Sunday before Christmas one candle is being lit, the 3rd 2 candles, the 2nd 3 candles and the Sunday before Christmas and Christmas itself all 4 candles.

    Nice, Pan.

Another reason that I can decorate so quickly is cause what I showed you is ALL I do. I do nothing on the interior or my house.

I haven't got a house, only a balcony. I decorated that one though:

Your home looks very festive. I know someone lives here who does a wreath with the four candles but she is from Munich.
