Bigtoad, it's a McDavid jockstrap with gray padding to cover the hips and the tailbone from impact. I think another LPSGer noted what it was in another thread, possibly about Tim Tebow.

Not all jocks are created equally: Dan Herron of the Indianapolis Colts also has a little jock exposure. (I swear, I just randomly saw it. It's not Luck wearing a black jock under white pants, which I look forward to...)
