Just started reading this in PDF at work since they are making me work during this waste of an American workweek.

I haven't gotten to the sex machine part but so far the nutrition info has been eye opening and seems fairly logical.

Anyone else thinks this book is written in a sort of gimmicky tone?

I think it sounds more than just sort of gimmicky.

Yeah, I avoided commenting more on it because I haven't read it, to be fair. However, I read some of the reviews on line and it mostly sounds like fancy marketing for information that's already out there. Like eating well and working out four times a week an hour a day will do great things for your body. Superhuman? Maybe not. But you'll look and feel better. And, when you look at it, calling it a "four hour body" is just marketing. The author just found a way to make exercising four times a week sound less taxing.

But, like I said, I haven't read it so I'm not an authority.

NYTimes reviewed it today. The best quote from the review: "Want to have Wolverine sex? - who doesn't? Eat 4 Brazil nuts, 20 raw almonds and two capsules of cod liver oil and butterfat four hours before intercourse. Mr. Ferriss used a hormone-slash-drug called human chorionic gonadotropin and more than tripled his semen volume. "Happy Days", he writes".

His pic, stripped to the waist, has me yearning to see the rest.

Oh, another NYTimes quote: "here is a man, who, after all, weighs his own feces, likes bloodletting as a life-extension strategy and aims a Philips goLite at his body in place of ingesting caffeine".

A man after my own heart.
